Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, one of the daughters of musicians from Mexico was born into the music-loving parents of her family. Her early years were spent listening to classical music, old boleros along with traditional ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana is a lover of the operas and tangos. Also, she loves performing in dramatic shows. Ana started learning how to sing and play the piano at an early age by her mother. The formal training in singing at the age of 16 old under the famous Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. The musical training continued with the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and then to the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. In Guadalajara and Mexico City, she was part of numerous opera choruses and chamber ensembles. In the years following her relocation into California in United States in 2000, she joined the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before shifting to her place in the southern part of California. She performs current the traditional Latin American songs at private events as a soloist. Being a teacher and a musician, she is committed to many projects in the community because of her passion and passion for music. Ana was also a member of the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is now a teacher of The Performance Loft. Ana hopes, through her performance her love of Latin American traditional songs, to instill an interest, especially among younger people in keeping the music alive.
